LATEST NEWS :    In a thrust to roll out 5G in 2020 in line with the worldwide markets, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said on Thursday that the branch of Telecom (DoT) will assist a 5G-test bed at IIT Chennai.

The 5G era is being standardised globally to enable internet of factors (IoT) applications.

The centre at IIT-Chennai can work at the development of IoT and system to device packages which might be relevant and nice applicable for India.

"The putting in of 5G centre in collaboration with IIT Chennai would assist India being early adopter of the subsequent generation technology in place of being a laggard," stated Hemant Joshi, accomplice, Deloitte India.

Axis Bank approves re-appointment of Shikha Sharma as CEO
