Airtel has announced a Rs 144 recharge plan in which the company is
offering 2 GB high-speed 4G data and unlimited free voice calls for 28 days.
The plan is valid only for prepaid
customers. In the recharge plan, the company offers limited 2GB data with no
fair usage policy (FUP), which means that the data can be consumed by customers
at one go or in 28 days. Also, the recharge pack offers free Airtel on-net
calls with a weekly threshold set at 1,000 minutes. Post utilizing free
minutes, the company would charge calls at 10 paisa per minute.
In comparison, Reliance Jio’s Rs
149 recharge plan offers unlimited data coupled with free voice calls, roaming,
SMS and Jio app subscription. In Rs 149 recharge plan, the company is offering
4.2 GB high-speed 4G data with FUP limit of 150 MB per day. Post exhausting the
daily FUP limits, customer can continue enjoying free unlimited internet at
lower speed of 64 Kbps.
